3 TIPS TO RUN ON TIME THE MORNING OF YOUR WEDDING

3 TIPS TO RUN ON TIME THE MORNING OF YOUR WEDDING!! ⬇️

***If your wedding morning runs late it’s typically because of all these reason below were NOT followed!***

•ARRIVE AT THE START TIME. If the time says 7:00am that means a butt needs to be in the chair at that time. You can’t have people ARRIVING at 7:00am AND sitting in a chair at the same time. So be early to get settled in so you can be ready to go at the correct time.

•HAVE PICTURES. Having a picture is going to help save on consultation time. Often times people describe a look TOTALLY different than their photo so this really helps artists. We understand everyone uses different descriptive words to describe a hair or makeup look so have an inspo photo to get on the same page. And no Kylie Jenner does not have natural makeup…

•TALK TO YOUR MOMS. I’m going to say it…After 10 years in bridal, I can confirm services for mothers really slow production time for the morning. Most will not trust the hair and makeup artists. Why? Because they “Just never did this when I got married” or “If my wrinkles aren’t gone then this isn’t going to work.” Most of the time moms are so out of their element and have the highest and unreasonable expectations. Most of the service time is eaten away with a consultation and lecture about not doing “clown makeup.” What can you do to help? Educate them BEFORE your wedding. Show them your hair and makeup artist portfolio. If they’re seasoned in bridal they will have plenty “mother of the bride/groom” pictures. If they bring their own photo it must be age appropriate!

I can go into SOOO much more details on all of these points but hopefully these tips help! In order for your wedding morning to run as smooth as possible, trust and LISTEN to your hair and makeup artist! Having an on time morning sets up your whole day for success. Spread the word and share this with a bride who’s getting married or save it for yourself!
